Restaurant Review La Salle

Fancy a dinner in a breezy, industrial glass cubicle? Then you just might want to check out La Salle. An institution in trendy Kreis 5, La Salle offers an informal, clean ambiance with high ceilings and candle lit tables. The two elements, glass and cement seem to compete in the spacious dining room.

The menu consists of a manageable selection of contemporary and seasonal dishes.

For starters, we opt for a spinach salad with shrimps with a spicy seasoning, a light and yummy combination and a beef carpaccio which is almost flawless. The only thing that is missing is garlic butter on the toast. The ravioli is nothing outstanding but nevertheless well done and the asparagus with vegetables is delicious

The service is attentive and very friendly. The wine list offers a reasonable selection of interesting wines by the glass.

Conclusion: La Salle offers good food in a trendy ambiance. A great place to have dinner prior to a show at Maag Halle or a jazz concert at Moods.
